The Western press and politicians paving the way for a confrontation with Russia. Photos: Shutterstock, GFCN; image editing: Mirjam©Photo.
Why do I specify Western Europe and exclude Southern Europe? Because the facts show that the bulk of the war rhetoric originates in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Baltic states, and—to a certain extent—Scandinavia. Southern European countries such as Italy, Spain, and Greece, as well as non-EU nations like North Macedonia and Albania, have effectively adopted a more neutral stance; even small Belgium isn’t really playing along—just look at the issue of frozen Russian assets. Although key figures like Ursula von der Leyen and Mark Rutte naturally pressure them to participate—and threaten to turn off the funding tap if they don’t—that sentiment simply isn’t gaining traction in the aforementioned countries.

The Greeks still remember how Germany and the Netherlands—through the actions of the Netherlands (Jeroen Dijsselbloem) and Germany (Angela Merkel)—literally impoverished them during the major crisis of 2015, when Greece was bankrupt and spiraling into poverty. The high-profile conflict between Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem and Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis took place in January 2015 in Athens during early negotiations over Greece’s bailout program. Dijsselbloem still maintains that Varoufakis was—and is—a catastrophe for Greece, but the Greeks see it differently! Dijsselbloem: Varoufakis was ‘catastrophic’ for Greece | eKathimerini.com
Or take Spain, for example, where the current Prime Minister Sánchez—and especially the majority of the population—supports Iran and condemns the mass murder in Gaza; this effectively means they are turning against Israel or condemning the new fascism. Moreover, the issue of Ukraine does not really resonate strongly in Spain—they are too “socialist” for that, just like in Greece. Usually, it is the so-called right-wingers—though I maintain that the left-right divide no longer exists in Europe. Nor does it in America, which has by now become a fascist country, just like Israel. The Right has largely shifted towards fascism, much like in the 1930s. In my view, Italy (and Portugal) is keeping a relatively low profile; the populations there are deeply divided or lack a strong opinion. But so much for the analysis of who spreads the most propaganda and who is most intent on war.
That refers, of course, to Western Europe—specifically the Netherlands, Germany, and the UK, and to a lesser extent France. Their latest piece of propaganda concerns the spread of the plague, allegedly escaped from a laboratory in Irkutsk—claiming a 28-year-old lab technician died from it—a sort of “Wuhan-2” scenario, according to them. Naturally, there is no evidence; it is just a “story” in the tabloids designed to drive the citizens of those countries “crazy”!
Of course, they have forgotten that there are extremely dangerous biolabs in Ukraine, a subject to which I have devoted many articles. *
The hoax surrounding the “Russian plague” and its architects—specifically the tactic of diverting attention from factual verification by accusing international fact-checkers of a “cover-up”—does nothing to lend credibility to fabricated reports.
A supposedly “local” monitoring system based in Irkutsk provides detailed updates on X—exclusively in English—despite the fact that not all Russians speak English or even use social media platforms like X (whether due to blocks or personal choice).
The X account only went live in May 2026, suggesting it is likely a fake account created for “false flag” operations; it appears rather amateurish—possibly even AI-generated.
After all, an X account that communicates solely in English with an international audience—rather than informing the local Russian-speaking population—is remarkable, to say the least.
This is particularly striking given its Australian registration, and a website from October 2026 (a few days old). Irkutsk Live | Reporting, flight analysis & health guidance

So much for the “hoax” surrounding the new Wuhan virus—the origins of which many suspect can be traced back to the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan, where US military personnel linked to Fort Detrick became infected. During a June 2019 inspection by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories at the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) at Fort Detrick, six violations were identified, including two breaches of safety containment. The inspection was followed by a letter from the CDC expressing concern on July 12, 2019, and subsequently by a cease-and-desist order on July 15, 2019. Then there is the other propaganda claiming a bridge in Kiev was bombed—precisely when German Chancellor Merz was visiting the city; it is an old scenario that plays out every time Western politicians pay a supposedly “unexpected” visit to Kiev to embrace their super-idol (a sort of Superman). I still remember Mark Rutte sitting in a bunker—smiling, of course—because the “angry Russians” were supposedly bombing Kiev; it turned out to be a false alarm—just (amateurish) propaganda designed to make the public believe the Russians wanted to get rid of him. It was all just for show, so to speak.
“Russia has struck another major bridge in Kyiv as the German chancellor, Friedrich Merz, arrived in the capital in a show of support for Ukraine.
A Russian drone hit Kiev’s key Northern Bridge over the Dnipro River, marking the fourth consecutive day that Russia has targeted bridges used by tens of thousands of residents commuting between the city’s two banks. Video footage showed cars driving across the bridge as the drone plunged into the roadway and exploded in a burst of fire. Two people were injured in the strike, said Kyiv’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
The attack came shortly after Merz arrived in the city on an unannounced visit intended to underline Germany’s backing of Ukraine” writes the Guardian!
But what else would you expect? After all, since Merz took office in May 2025, Germany has become the largest provider of military aid to Ukraine, thereby overtaking the US. The Germans ought to be ashamed of the devastation they wreaked during the First and Second World Wars—particularly the latter, in which 26 million Russians lost their lives. Yet German politicians, much like their Dutch counterparts, have long since cast aside any sense of shame; they repeat their mantra daily—mostly on X, though less popular and receiving a lot of hatred by the public there—about supporting Ukraine and use taxpayer money to supply weapons to the country, all while their own population groans under the burden of a massive influx of refugees, rising taxes, and increasing crime.
The situation has never been as dire as it is now; Mark Rutte had a point when he said we would experience a war even worse than the one our ancestors went through. What he failed to mention, however, is that he and other warmongers are the cause of this—not the general public, who want no part of war. After all, hasn’t Russia repeatedly stated that they have no intention of attacking Europe? Over the past five years, they have had every opportunity to destroy NATO or EU buildings, or other EU institutions, had they wished to do so. But the fact is, Putin is not Hitler, and the Russians do not want a full-blown war; like ordinary citizens everywhere, they simply desire peace and progress for themselves and their children—something Western politicians fail to grasp. Then again, most of those Western politicians are childless and ‘woke’ or LGBT, so there is that…they don’t care, it shows…
